First Step: (identify problem) when you have a problem animal is to identify it. This may be simple. You may see the animal in the act or see it's tracks on the ground. Squirrels are a good example. You might see one raiding your garden. Other animals are more nocturnal and will be more active at night. Thus, you might not see the animal to identify what it is, but you will find evidence of its misbehaving the next morning. If you can identify it before you call us then we know what traps to bring to remove it. However, sometimes it may be difficult to identify and in this case we will come out and identify it for you.
Second Step: (make appointment) once you have found that you have a problem animal call us. We set up a appointment to come out identify the animal if necessary and set traps. From this point the customer must be aware that we will plan on checking the traps regularly. The customer needs to schedule with us what days and time during the day we can come and check our traps, and if they wish to be present when we come or not.
Third Step: (catching the animal) all traps that are set should not be touched by the customer. If you see that the trap has caught an animal do not attempt to touch the animal or to remove the trap. These are wild animals and can be unpredictable especially when trapped. When a trap has caught an animal the best thing you can do is call us and make us aware and we will remove it.
Fourth Step: (once the animal is trapped) once the problem animal has been caught you will be contacted in person or over the phone. We then will give you the choice of having us relocating the animal to a different area or to destroy the animal. Relocating the animal may depend on the type of animal. Some animals can not be relocated and must be destroyed. If you choose to have us relocate the animal we do charge an additional relocation fee. The price of which will depend upon the type of animal, and the time and miles to the release location.
Fifth Step: (we collect payment) we collect cash or check for our services at the time we contact you once we have trapped the animal or we will schedule a visit to collect your payment. At this time we may also evaluate if we need to keep the traps set for additional problem animals or to remove them all. If you have more than one problem animal we will keep setting traps until the animals have been removed or the land owner asks us to remove them.
